NTPC Anchored Power plant Operations & Maintenance Event Theme: Green the New Normal

NTPC is ranked amongst largest Independent  Power Producers in the World and shall further improve its efficiency to be a clean-green company  Shri Bharatsinh Solanki, Union Minister of State for Power said while inaugurating the three day NTPC anchored event “Green- the New Normal” today in New Delhi. Shri H.S. Brahma, Secretary (Power), Shri R.S. Sharma, CMD,NTPC and Shri Chandan Roy, Director (Operations),NTPC addressed the confluence of over 300  Power Plant Engineers from SEBs and other utilities, engineering & manufacturing professionals, equipment manufacturers, service providers, regulators from all over the world on the occasion.

The themes to be deliberated over the three day period shall be environment challenges, fuel security strategies, operational cost challenge, regulation and customer enlightenment.

NTPC is the largest power generation company in India with an installed capacity of  31,134 MW through 26 power stations including JVs. Over the years, NTPC has brought a new culture of power plant designs and power plant operations resulting in new performance benchmarks.

Shri Bharatsinh Solanki, Union Minister of State for Power inaugurated the three day NTPC anchored event “Green- the New Normal” today and also released a book on   papers to be presented during the conference in New Delhi. Shri H.S. Brahma, Secretary (Power), Shri R.S. Sharma, CMD,NTPC and Shri Chandan Roy, Director (Operations),NTPC addressed the confluence of Power Plant Engineers, engineering and manufacturing professionals, equipment manufacturers, service providers, regulators from all over the world on the occasion.
