NTPC Clarification

This is with reference to the news item which has appeared today in Hindustan Times website filed by PTI.

For Sipat Project, NTPC has not placed any direct order on the said company. NTPC is also not a party in the contract between any of the Manufacturers and its Equipment Suppliers i.e the said party Control Component Inc (CCI).

NTPC takes strong objection to its name being highlighted in the new item.
