Individual Recognitions

Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD received the Individual Leadership Excellence Award (Maharatna & Navratana PSEs) from Smt Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India, during the SCOPE Eminence Awards at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

Environment Awards

NTPC received the first prize at the 5th National Water Awards 2023. Shri A K Jadli, Director (HR) received the award from Hon'ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on 22nd October 2024.

Company Rankings Awards

NTPC has been bestowed with the ‘India’s Best Workplaces in Manufacturing 2022 – Top 30’ recognition by the Great Place to Work Institute. This is fifth year in a row, NTPC has been bestowed with the recognition.

CSR Awards

NTPC was conferred with “Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility” Award at the prestigious 19th CII-ITC Sustainability Awards 2024. This is the highest award conferred by CII-ITC and NTPC is the only PSU to receive this recognition in the CSR category.

The award was presented by Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon'ble Vice President of India, and was received by Shri Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR) in a ceremony at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on 10th July.

This award recognises companies that have positively impacted both business and society by taking a strategic approach to CSR through collaborative programmes with government and civil society. The award is bestowed on NTPC for demonstrating highest level of commitment to CSR best practices that contribute to enhancement of quality of life of the communities and NTPC's contribution as a responsible corporate citizen in nation building, consistent with its commitment to a greener and a cleaner tomorrow.

This award celebrates organisations that achieve enterprise-wide success through exceptional talent development initiatives.
