NTPC secured two awards at the ET Energy Leadership Awards 2026, reaffirming its leadership in business performance and people transformation.
NTPC has been honoured with the 'Energy Company Award – Power: Large Cap' (More than ₹500 Crore), a category that recognises excellence in power generation, distribution, innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability. The award acknowledges NTPC’s continued contribution towards strengthening India’s energy security while driving the nation’s clean energy transition through reliable operations, technological advancement, and sustainable business practices.
In addition, NTPC received the 'Workforce Transformation in Energy Award', which recognises organisations that are redefining the future of work through upskilling, digital adoption, and innovative talent strategies. The award highlights NTPC’s sustained efforts in building a future-ready workforce through initiatives focused on continuous learning, leadership development, digital transformation, employee engagement, internal talent mobility, and AI-enabled people practices.
The awards were received on behalf of NTPC by Ms Premlata, ED (Strategic HRD & Talent Development) and Shri M Karikal Chozhan, AGM (Corporate Planning).
