NTPC has been awarded Greentech Safety Award - 2014 in Platinum category (Top Most Honour) for its outstanding achievement in Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The award was presented at a function held in Hyderabad on 14th September, 2014. Shri H.M. Gangopadhyay, DGM (Safety) - CC and Shri A.K. Samanta, DGM (Simhadri) received the award on behalf of Corporate Centre. Four NTPC Stations - Simhadri, Singrauli, Talcher (Thermal) & Auraiya received Gold Award and Bongaigaon & Vindhyachal received award in Silver category on the occasion.
