NTPC has been awarded the prestigious SKOCH Order of Merit for top Corporate Social Responsibility projects in India. The award was presented on 19th September, 2018 at New Delhi and was received by G. Sridhar, AGM (CSR).
SKOCH Award, instituted in 2003, salutes people, projects and institutions that go the extra mile to make India a better nation.
NTPC’s award winning CSR project was “Enhancing agricultural incomes by improving farm productivity” so that a productive, diversified and sustainable agricultural sector emerges at an accelerated pace and the rural economy makes an effective and efficient contribution to the national development process.
