Ramagundam received the prestigious Apex India Energy Efficiency Award–2017. The power station received the Top Award i.e. Platinum Award in Thermal Power Sector.
At a function organised by Apex India Foundation on 29th May, 2018, Delhi BJP Chief and MP, Shri Manoj Tiwari presented the award to Shri D.S.G.S.S. Babji, GM (Operation) and and Shri Manoj Kumar Jha, DGM (EEMG).
