NTPC- Ramagundam, Vindhaychal and Kawas was recognized by CII as an “Excellent Energy Efficient Unit” on completion of the National Competition for Excellence in Energy Management held on 29-31 August 2018.The NTPC stations has been recognized as "Excellent Energy Efficient Unit" in Thermal and Gas Power Sector by CII- Hyderabad at 19th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management-2018 programme held at Hyderabad.
Kawas -The award was presented to Shri S Balsubramanyan, AGM(BE), Shri A K Barlewar, AGM(MTP) & Shri Jayesh Behede, Dy. Manager (Operation)
Vindhaychal -The Award was received by Shri S Banerjee, AGM (EEMG) and his team from the Secretary Power, Telegana. This is the second successive year that Vindhyachal was adjudged as one of the best for better Energy Management Practices and Energy Conservation.
