New Delhi, April 07, 2024: NTPC, India's leading integrated power company, has set a target of 40 Million Metric Tons (MMT) of coal production from its captive mines for the fiscal FY’25. The ambitious target will help NTPC achieve significant growth of 17% of captive coal production compared to the previous fiscal. 

This will fulfill over 15% of coal requirement through captive mines in FY25, thereby strengthening fuel security for the power major. 

New Delhi, 8th April, 2024: NTPC Ltd. India's largest integrated power utility, has set a target to add 5GW of installed capacity reflecting its commitment to providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy solutions.

NTPC aims to add 3GW of RE capacity, exemplifying its steadfast dedication to environmental stewardship. Simultaneously, the power major aims to add 2GW to its thermal energy capacity, strengthening India's energy infrastructure.

New Delhi, 1st April 2024: NTPC Ltd., India’s largest integrated power utility, has won 3445 MW RE tenders it participated during the FY 2023-24. 

This records 58% of total RE tenders the company participated during the Financial Year which is the highest since it started participating in the bids. 

Currently, NTPC has 3.5 GW RE operational capacity with over 20 GW in pipeline. 

New Delhi, 1st April 2024: NTPC Ltd., India’s largest integrated power utility, has achieved addition of 3924 MW new capacity to its overall portfolio in FY24, elevating its cumulative installed capacity to almost 76 GW.

This includes the commissioning of the 2nd Unit in Bangladesh and maiden capacity addition by both NGEL and NREL during the FY ending 31st March 2024.

New Delhi, April 01, 2024: NTPC Ltd., India's leading integrated power utility, has reported a substantial growth of 55% in coal despatch from its captive mines during FY24, as compared to the previous year.

The company achieved an impressive coal despatch of 34.15 MMT and Coal production stood at 34.38 MMT with a growth of nearly 50% by the end of 31st March 2024.

This outstanding performance reflects NTPC's relentless commitment to enhancing coal production from its captive mines and ensuring efficient supply to meet the nation's energy needs.

New Delhi, 1st April 2024: NTPC Ltd, India's largest integrated power utility, recorded its highest ever yearly generation of 422 Billion Units (BU) in FY 2023-24, at a growth of nearly 6% over FY 2022-23.

During the financial year 2023-24, NTPC Coal stations recorded a plant load factor (PLF) of 77%.

Earlier during the year, the Company recorded highest ever single day generation of 1428 Million Units (MU) on 1st September 2023.

New Delhi, 21st February, 2024: NTPC’s ESG Score has ascended by two levels, transitioning from a ‘D’ rating in 2022 to a commendable ‘C’ rating in 2023, in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Water Security Rating.
