NTPC Mouda bagged the "Best Water Efficient Plant” by Mission Energy Foundation in April 2023 in an award ceremony held in New Delhi. This was was conferred to Mauda under the large plant category, i.e 500 MW & above for having the lowest specific water consumption in WR-I.
