New Delhi, 29th March 2025: India’s largest integrated power utility, NTPC Limited is embarking on a major stride towards strengthening the Central India's energy landscape with the development of the Sipat Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-III located in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh.
New Delhi, 1st April 2025: NTPC Ltd, India's largest integrated power utility, has achieved remarkable growth in its operational performance during the financial year 2024-2025 with a significant increase in total power generation by 3.88% as compared to the previous financial year (FY24).
The NTPC Group recorded a total generation of 438.6 Billion Units (BU) in FY’25, surpassing the previous financial year's generation of 422.2 BU. These accomplishments reinforce NTPC's commitment to delivering reliable and affordable power to the nation.
New Delhi, 28th March 2025: ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (ONGPL), a 50:50 Joint Venture Company of NTPC Green Energy Limited and ONGC Green Limited, has completed the acquisition of 100% equity stake in Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited on 27th March 2025.
Ayana, a leading renewable energy platform, has capacity of approx. 4112 MW (2123 MW of operational and 1989 MW under-construction assets), strategically located across resource-rich states. Its portfolio is backed by high-credit-rated off-takers such as SECI, NTPC, GUVNL, and Indian Railways.
Leading the power sector while establishing a forum for knowledge sharing, learning and innovation, NTPC organized the Indian Power Stations O&M Conference (IPS 2025) from 13th to 15th February 2025.
New Delhi, 10th March 2025: In a major boost to sustainable energy solutions while strengthening Govt of India's efforts towards energy transition and Net Zero goals, NTPC Limited along with its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) today signed multiple agreements worth Rs 96,000 crore with the Govt. of Chhattisgarh at Chhattisgarh Energy Investors Summit-2025 held at Raipur. The agreements include Nuclear, Pump Hydro and Renewable projects based on Solar/Wind/Hybrid sources in the state.

New Delhi, 1st March 2025: NTPC Group achieved fastest ever 400 Billion Units (BU) generation on 1st March 2025 in FY 2024-25. This milestone is achieved in just 335 days, which is 12 days earlier as compared to the last financial year.
In FY 2023-24, the company had crossed 400 BU generation on 13th March 2024.
