New Delhi, 4th March, 2024: In order to realize the green energy objectives of NTPC and the GOI’s efforts towards energy transition, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) on 4th March 2024 at UPRVUNL’s office at Lucknow for development of RE Parks and Projects in Uttar Pradesh.
New Delhi, 10th March, 2024: NTPC & NGEL signed two separate non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RVUNL on 10th March 2024, in a MoU signing ceremony at Chief Minister’s Office in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
New Delhi, 8th March 2024 : Shri Jaikumar Srinivasan, Director (Finance), NTPC has been conferred with the Best CFO award under Excellence in Corporate Governance (Large Enterprises) by The Economic Times in Mumbai on 7th March 2024. The award was presented by Shri Ajay Nanavati, Chairman, Quantum Group and Shri Amol Dethe, Editor-in-Chief, ETCFO.

Shri Ravindra Kumar joined NTPC Limited as Graduate Engineer Trainee officer in 1989 and has more than 34 years of diverse and versatile experience in Commissioning, O&M, Engineering and Project management.
New Delhi, 23rd February 2024 : The first solar project of NTPC REL at Chhattargarh in Rajasthan declared commercial operation of 70 MW on 21st February 2024. With this, NTPC Group installed capacity has reached 73958 MW.
