New Delhi, 24th Jan 2025:   NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, has been honored as a Top Employer in India for 2025 by the globally acclaimed Top Employers Institute.  This recognition highlights NTPC’s efforts in creating a supportive and inclusive workplace where employees can thrive and grow. 

Shri Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR), along with other senior HR officials received the award on behalf of NTPC at the Top Employers Certification Celebration 2025 event held on 23rd January in New Delhi.

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited Wins 1000 MW in UPPCL’s Solar PV Power Project Auction

New Delhi, 4th January 2025: NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has emerged as a successful bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). The tender, aimed at the "Selection of Solar Power Developers for Setting up 2000 MW ISTS-connected Solar PV Power Projects in India under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding," conducted on 3rd January 2025.

New Delhi, 7th January 2025: In a significant move that underscores the Government of India’s commitment for green energy and sustainable future, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the state-of-the-art NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub Project at Pudimadaka near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on 8th January. 

NTPC Mining records growth of 23% in coal production upto Q3 FY25

New Delhi, 1st January 2025: NTPC Mining delivers stellar performance upto Q3 of FY 2024-25 by producing 30.88 Million Metric Tonnes (MMT) of coal registering YoY growth of 23% and has dispatched 30.55 MMT of coal to NTPC’s power stations with a growth of around 19% compared to last financial year.
 
NTPC Coal Mining has consistently exceeded its production targets, reinforcing its position as a key player in captive coal mining sector. 

NTPC achieves 326 BU generation upto Q3 of FY 25

New Delhi, 1st Jan 2025: NTPC Ltd, India's largest integrated power utility, recorded a generation 326 BU at the end of third quarter (Q3) of FY 2024-25 registering a growth of 3.82% compared to the corresponding period in the previous financial year.

NTPC coal stations achieved cumulative plant load factor (PLF) of 76.20% by the end of third quarter (Q3) of FY 2024-25.

By the end of calendar year 2024, NTPC Group installed capacity stands at 76,598 MW with an addition of 2724 MW during the year.
