New Delhi, February 3rd, 2020: India’s largest power generator NTPC Limited has raised syndicated Japanese yen loan worth USD 750 million. This is the largest ever syndicated JPY loan raised by any Asian Corporate from offshore Samurai loan market. It is also the highest ever single foreign currency loan raised by NTPC.
The Country’s largest power generator- NTPC Ltd. with a group installed capacity of 58156 MW, declared the financial results for the third quarter and nine-month ended 31 December 2019.
For 9M FY20, NTPC generated 191.35 Billion Units. Coal stations achieved a Plant Load Factor of 67.13% as against National Average of 55.84%.
For 9M FY20, the Total Income was ₹ 72,199.66 crore as against ₹ 69,633.95 crore in 9M FY19, registering an increase of 3.68%. For Q3 FY20, Total income was ₹ 24,022.62 crore as against ₹ 24,308.01 crore in Q3 FY19.

New Delhi, Feb 19th: NTPC Ltd, India’s largest power generation company has bagged the prestigious recognition from Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) 2020 award for outstanding performing utility in Thermal Power Sector.
NTPC has been awarded India's Best Workplaces in Manufacturing 2020 -Top 30, award in Mumbai. Shri A.N.Verma, ED (HR) received the award along with Shri C V Anand, RED (WR-I & SR).
New Delhi, February 27, 2020: NTPC Ltd, India’s largest power producer, has invited Expression of Interest from interested fly ash users and ash traders. The process would be another feather in the cap for the power generator in its path for excellence in fly ash utilisation. The fly ash will be procured from NTPC’s Vindhyachal, Rihand, Korba and Sipat Super Thermal Power Stations. The ash is proposed to be issued from the Shakurbasti Depot of Central Railside Warehousing Corporation (CRWC) in New Delhi and will be supplied in 40kg bags to interested parties.
