NTPC augments its solar footprint and achieves 69454 MW of installed capacity
New Delhi, August 17, 2022: NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated energy company achieved 69454 MW of group installed and commercial capacity with commissioning of 56 MW Kawas Solar PV Project at NTPC Kawas, Gujarat on 15.08.2022.

NTPC registers 62% growth in coal production from its captive mines
NTPC continues to demonstrate an increasing trend in coal production from its captive mines. The coal production in this fiscal till Aug 2022, was 7.36 MMT, posting a robust growth of 62 % when compared to 4.55 MMT achieved in the same period of last year. With meticulous planning, resource mobilization, and regular monitoring, NTPC could achieve substantial growth even during the monsoon period, so far, and is hopeful of maintaining similar growth. The coal dispatch from NTPC’s captive mines has been 7.52 MMT against 5.47 MMT in FY22 for the same period registering a growth of 37%.
NTPC Ltd. pays Final Dividend of Rs. 2,908.99 crore for FY 2021-22
NTPC Ltd. has paid the final dividend of Rs. 2,908.99 crore on 12th September 2022 for the financial year 2021-22, being 30% of the paid-up equity share capital of the Company.
The total dividend paid for FY 2021-22 is Rs. 6,787.67 crore, being ~42% of the PAT of FY 2021-22.
This is the 29th consecutive year that NTPC Ltd. has paid dividend.
