New Delhi, 1st April, 2021: NTPC, India's largest power generating company recorded its highest ever group generation of 314 BU in FY 21, a growth of 8.2% compared to previous year. On a standalone basis, NTPC generated 270.9 BU in FY21, an increase of 4.3% over the previous year.

New Delhi: April 30^th: Considering the huge surge in COVID-19 cases in India, NTPC is taking several steps to fight against the spread of the virus.

NTPC is adding to the capacity at all of the 7 NTPC hospitals which are being used for treating COVID-19 infected employees. It has also tied up with Apollo Hospital for its KAWACH facility which has brought immense relief to the COVID infected patients since now they are getting better treatment even being in home isolation.

New Delhi, May 6th 2021: NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, India’s largest integrated energy company has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to sell power from it’s 150 MW solar project. The project, which will be installed in Gujarat, will sell power at a tariff of Rs.2.20 per kWh.

NTPC has already taken a series of measures across its plant locations on sound water management.

NEW DELHI . To combat second wave of Covid Pandemic and ensure safety and good health of its employees, their family members and associates NTPC has been organising Vaccination drives at its various locations and offices.

A total number of 2013 persons have been vaccinated at NTPC SCOPE Office in New Delhi, over five days in a phased manner.

The vaccination process was conducted under strict Covid protocol.
