Celebrating and commemorating 75 years of independence, the weeklong celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration at NTPC Darlipali which started on 13th March concluded on 19th March.
Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD and Board of Directors NTPC joined the celebration via virtual mode. Addressing the gathering, CMD congratulated Team Darlipali for successfully hosting the mega celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in befitting manner.
Shri A K Goswami, RED (ER- II) graced the occasion as chief guest, Shri A K Samaiyar, CGM (Darlipali), Smt Manjari Goswami, President (Vasudha Mahila Mandal), Smt. Manisha Samaiyar, President (Abhilasha Ladies Club) and other senior officials of NTPC were present.
The weeklong celebration hosted huge population of daily visitors from nearby villages and 700 – 800 students from nearby schools enjoying exhibition and handicraft stalls with cultural evenings celebrating the rich and diverse culture of our country.
Addressing the gathering, RED (ER – II) congratulated Team Darlipali for the successful completion of the celebration.
The final day witnessed Docudrama on NTPC’s journey from 0 MW to 70 GW and Cultural programme by Bal Bhavan. Both the performances were thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by everyone.
